Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Wayne LePierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ward comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Everything in its right place- Radio Head kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Wayne LePierre has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward with a lazy takedown attempt
and LePierre counters with a slapping leg kick.
Ward looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Ward throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Ward swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and LePierre is now in Ward's guard. A big mistake from Ward there, giving up the dominant position!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Ward has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but LePierre can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
LePierre has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ward is proving hard to escape from.

LePierre takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

and LePierre counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
LePierre throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Ward throws out a loose jab but LePierre uses good head movement to avoid it.
LePierre connects with the punch.
LePierre displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ward throws out the jab.

Ward misses with a takedown attempt - LePierre sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Ward changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. LePierre looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
LePierre is trying to control Ward's posture but Ward avoids it.

Ward throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! LePierre escapes and throws Ward's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Ward is not content to let LePierre control the position.
LePierre decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Ward misses with a takedown attempt
and LePierre counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
LePierre stuffs the takedown attempt from Ward. Ward gets slowly back to his feet.
Wayne LePierre has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mr Ward.

and LePierre counters with a body kick.
LePierre scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
LePierre throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ward stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
LePierre throws a nice inside leg kick.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Jab, jab by LePierre - just one landing.
Ward shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
LePierre is trying desperately to improve position.
Ward avoids the attempt from LePierre to control.
LePierre can't escape the position.
Ward throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Ward moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, LePierre has worked his arm free - good work by LePierre!

Ward wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by LePierre, who protects the arm well.

and LePierre cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Ward shoots in for a takedown but LePierre shows good takedown defense.
Wayne LePierre has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mr Ward.
Ward shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as LePierre sprawls well. LePierre wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ward gets slowly back to his feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
LePierre dips to his left and cracks Ward with an uppercut!

I would just about give that final round to Mr Ward.
