Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Will Filton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Shadow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Filton might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Foo Fighters - In Your Honor. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Joe Shadow was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Filton lands with a thumping leg kick.
Shadow throws a series of punches but Filton avoids them all with ease.
Shadow moves in looking to clinch but Filton pushes him off.
Filton drops his hands momentarily and Shadow takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Shadow tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Filton paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Filton darts in and clinches Shadow up against the cage.
Filton lands a hook that snaps the head of Shadow backwards.
Shadow blocks the elbow strike.
Shadow can't break the clinch.
Shadow is looking to break free of the clinch but Filton has double underhooks.
Shadow wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Filton keeps control of Shadow as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Filton creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Filton misses with an elbow strike.
Shadow wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Shadow wants to get back to striking at distance but Filton won't allow it.
Filton tries to pull guard but Shadow holds him up against the cage and eventually Filton drops back down to his feet.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Filton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Shadow has hold of Filton's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Filton manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Shadow postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Filton looks a forlorn figure.

Shadow is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Filton knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Filton working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Shadow doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Shadow manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Filton feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Filton drops back looking for a leg! Shadow is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Shadow manages to kick Filton off! Filton jumps back into Shadow's guard.

Filton is working to tighten is grip on Shadow's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Shadow has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Filton is really squeezing tight and eventually Shadow passes out! Filton breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
