The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Der Hoef clobbers Rehman with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Rehman looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Van Der Hoef rushes Rehman and presses him up against the cage.

Van Der Hoef will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Oooooh!!! Van Der Hoef has knocked Rehman down with a huge combo! Van Der Hoef steps away and waves a wobbly Rehman back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Van Der Hoef leaves Rehman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
