Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dain Bramage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Dain Bramage has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dain Bramage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Paul Jones!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Reed Andrews and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jones connects with a nice short shot to Bramage's temple.
Jones drops an elbow to the side of Bramage's head.

Bramage is rocked!
Bramage is trying to stand up here but Jones is controlling him well.
Oh Bramage is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones thows a huge punch but Bramage dodges it nicely.
Jones is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Bramage might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Jones seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Bramage is trying to stand.
Jones winds up and cracks Bramage with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Bramage is trying to stand up here but Jones is controlling him well.
Bramage seems to have got his legs back now.
Jones wants to pass to mount but Bramage is defending the position.

Jones is pressing down on Bramage's thigh, looking to free his foot. Bramage is holding on for now.

Bramage looks like he's trying to stand up.
Jones tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bramage knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Jones feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Bramage has a closed guard, preventing Jones from standing up.

Bramage is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Bramage prevents the takedown attempt.
Bramage is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Bramage pulls Jones into guard.
Bramage wants to get back to his feet but Jones is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Bramage manages to escape and get back to his feet.

and Jones counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bramage won't be happy with that.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Bramage avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Jones.
Jones works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Bramage takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Jones is working Bramage over with some ground and pound from side control.
Bramage is not content to let Jones control the position.
Jones lands a few punches from side control.
Jones works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Bramage takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Jones lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Jones wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bramage keeps working.

Jones decides to stand back up. Jones steps back and let's Bramage get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jones lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Bramage is looking to close the distance but Jones sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Bramage crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Bramage is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
