Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stark goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
A punch combination from Ichiro misses.
Ichiro scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Ichiro tried to score with a low kick but Stark checks it.
A combination from Ichiro does no damage.
No luck for Stark with that takedown attempt.

Ichiro has managed to clinch.
Ichiro looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Stark trying to stall but Ichiro improves his position.
Ichiro can't break the clinch.
Ichiro tries to break free but Stark pushes him back against the cage.
Ichiro is working for takedown but Stark is calmly controlling the position for now.

Ichiro breaks from the clinch.
Ichiro swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Stark uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ichiro.
Ichiro scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Stark closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Ichiro is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Stark is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Stark controlling the pace for now.
Ichiro is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Ichiro is wriggling around trying to escape.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Stark jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Ichiro is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Ichiro and Stark has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Stark has an Americana. Ichiro didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Stark is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Stark hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
