Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nikolay Ivanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sasha Zamiatin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zamiatin has chosen Tuvinian Singing as his entrance music. Nikolay Ivanov has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zamiatin closes the distance looking to clinch
and Ivanov counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Zamiatin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Ivanov moves into the clinch.
Ivanov digs a right hand underneath Zamiatin's ribcage. Zamiatin let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Ivanov goes for a takedown attempt but Zamiatin pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Zamiatin is on top in guard.

Zamiatin has hold of Ivanov's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ivanov manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Ivanov is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Ivanov tries to roll over but Zamiatin keeps him under control.

Zamiatin postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Ivanov to stand up.

Ivanov dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Zamiatin. That did some damage!

Zamiatin has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Ivanov is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Zamiatin yanks on the arm and Ivanov is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Zamiatin.
