The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandez fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bobandy manages to avoid it.

Fernandez closes the distance and clinches.
Fernandez scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Fernandez scores with a hook to the body.
Bobandy tries to pull guard but Fernandez holds him up against the cage and eventually Bobandy drops back down to his feet.

Fernandez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Fernandez controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bobandy wants to sweep but no luck.
Fernandez tries to free his leg and advance position but Bobandy is retaining full guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Fernando Fernandez wasn't active enough on the ground.

Bobandy bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Fernandez misses with a wild combination.

Fernandez shoots in and gets a takedown into Bobandy's guard.

Fernandez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bobandy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bobandy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bobandy is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Bobandy seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fernandez does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Fernandez pushes Bobandy off looking to stand but Bobandy dives back in and keeps control.

Fernandez misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Bobandy frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Bobandy can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Fernandez is looking to escape.

Bobandy quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Bobandy but it's paid off an Fernandez is forced to tap! Nice work by Bobandy.
