Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lloyd Christmas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carmine Munzio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Christmas comes to the cage accompanied by Whiney, Whiney. Munzio is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Rise Against. Lloyd Christmas looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Russell Pearce and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munzio slips a jab and a cross from Christmas.
A right-left combo lands from Munzio.
Munzio has closed the distance and engaged Christmas in a clinch.
Munzio pulls guard successfully.
Christmas trying to control the position from guard on top but Munzio is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Munzio escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Christmas gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Christmas slips nicely into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Christmas tries to pass the half guard into mount. Munzio knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Munzio is refusing to be controlled, as Christmas sits in half guard.
Christmas is controlling the pace.
Christmas seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Munzio does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Munzio gets back to full guard.
Munzio looks gassed!
Munzio is looking for a triangle but Christmas pushes his legs off easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Christmas content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Christmas pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Munzio is keeping the position for now.
Munzio had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Christmas is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Munzio Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Christmas's back instead.
Munzio keeps control of the position as Christmas tries to break free.

Munzio looking to break Christmas's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Christmas remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Munzio will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Munzio is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Christmas has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Munzio has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Christmas is defending well but eventually Munzio manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Christmas has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
