The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Paula tries to clinch but Whyte moves out of range.
Whyte misses with a takedown attempt

and De Paula counters by clinching up.
De Paula jumps guard but Whyte stands there with De Paula around his waist. De Paula gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Whyte is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! De Paula rolls with it to try and escape but Whyte cranks on the arm and De Paula is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
