Gruber comes into the arena with Irwin Goodman - St. Pauli Ja Reeperbahn blaring out of the sound system. Kilmster has chosen Maylene & The Sons of Disaster - Darkest of Kin as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gruber throws an off balance right hand

and Kilmster counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Kilmster throws a strike but Gruber avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Gruber bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kilmster's head backwards.

Kilmster fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gruber sprawls well initially but Kilmster persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
