Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mao Zedong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khalid Nordin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nordin takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Nordin scores with a takedown into Zedong's guard.
Nordin trying to control the position from guard on top but Zedong is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Nordin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zedong swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Zedong wants to sweep but no luck.
Nordin wants to control from the top but Zedong keeps moving.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Zedong wants to stand and escape but Nordin is having none of it.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Khalid Nordin hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Nordin fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Zedong, pushing him back against the cage.
Nordin changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Zedong fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Zedong lands with a cross.
Zedong lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Nordin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Zedong sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nordin somewhat.
Zedong throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Nordin fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Zedong to the ground. Nordin is now in Zedong's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Nordin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zedong swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Zedong utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Khalid Nordin was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Zedong sends Nordin crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Zedong is motioning to the referee to let Nordin up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Nordin is rocked!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Nordin.
Mao Zedong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Khalid Nordin.
Nordin looks gassed!
Zedong cracks Nordin on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Nordin falls backwards against the cage. Zedong follows up with more strikes that drop Nordin to his knees. Zedong keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Nordin! This one is all over!
