Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Makao Matsumoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matsumoto comes to the ring accompanied by Sepultura - Territory . Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Patrick Murphy will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matsumoto takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Matsumoto decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Matsumoto thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Murphy's head.
Matsumoto seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Matsumoto seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Murphy does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Matsumoto is taking a breather. Murphy says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Matsumoto is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Murphy is just riding it out for now. Matsumoto eventually gives up the hold.
Matsumoto wants to pass to mount but Murphy is defending the position.
Matsumoto has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

He's trying desperately to grab hold of Matsumoto around the waist but Matsumoto pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Matsumoto is the winner by TKO! Matsumoto jumps onto the ropes and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
