Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Donkerello Punchistan!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McWrestle circles away from the clinch attempt

and McWrestle counters with a single leg into guard. Punchistan didn't expect that.
McWrestle not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Punchistan has his feet on McWrestle's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Punchistan tries to clinch but fails miserably

and McWrestle holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Punchistan fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Punchistan is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Punchistan is trying to drag McWrestle to the mat but McWrestle just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

McWrestle gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Punchistan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Punchistan wants it to stay on the feet.

McWrestle seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Punchistan for as long as he can get away with.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Punchistan enables McWrestle to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Punchistan manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for McWrestle, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
