The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matrix throws a right hand that Slim Jim ducks under and follows up with a left that Slim Jim also avoids with ease.
Slim Jim drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Slim Jim tries to clinch
and Matrix counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Matrix.
Slim Jim throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Matrix blocks it with crossed arms.
A short uppercut from Matrix.
Slim Jim breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Matrix counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Slim Jim looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Matrix is fending him off so far but Slim Jim persists. Nope, Matrix circles away and we're back to standing.
Nice takedown defense from Matrix. No joy for Slim Jim on that attempt.
Slim Jim moves to clinch but Matrix breaks away
and Matrix counters with a crisp one two that drops Slim Jim! Matrix thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Slim Jim to his feet! Slim Jim is in big trouble!
Slim Jim is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Matrix connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Slim Jim to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Matrix!
