Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Light (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ernesto Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Light comes to the cage accompanied by Ride for This-Fabolous. Oliveira is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Eminem - You Don't Know ft. 50 Cent. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira lands a nice looking body shot.
Oliveira dips to his left and cracks Light with an uppercut!
Light falls off balance throwing a combination
and Oliveira connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Oliveira counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Light looks for a takedown but Oliveira sprawls well.
Oliveira throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

and Oliveira takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Oliveira fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Light looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Oliveira creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

and Light cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Light dives in and grabs Oliveira's left leg, looking for a takedown. Oliveira pushes down on Light's head and hops out.
Oliveira lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Oliveira swings away with a body shot that misses
and Light connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Oliveira bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Light's head.
Light moves out of range as Oliveira strikes.
Light takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Oliveira goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

and Light counters with a single leg into guard. Oliveira didn't expect that.
Oliveira pulls Light in close to his closed guard and prevents Light from doing any damage or advancing position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Oliveira is looking to advance position but Light won't allow it.

Oliveira wanted to stand there but Light had control of the position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Oliveira accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Ernesto Oliveira.
Light throws an overhand right that lands on Oliveira's shoulder, as Oliveira tries to avoid the shot.

and Light counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Oliveira's guard now.

Light is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Oliveira is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Light goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Oliveira rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Light's guard! Nice work there by Oliveira!

Oliveira stays in close to Light's body and controls the position.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Oliveira missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Oliveira is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Ernesto Oliveira has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Light lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Oliveira at a distance.

Light shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Oliveira manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Light is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Oliveira to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Oliveira shrugs it off.

Oliveira is squirming around, avoiding Light's attempts to control the action.

Light wants to control the pace but Oliveira is squirming around nicely.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Light jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Oliveira is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Oliveira and Light has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Light is looking to take a break and control but Oliveira is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Light.
