Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gary Paulson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yossi Avitan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gary Paulson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Yossi Avitan!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paulson misses with a hook
and Avitan counters with a body kick.
Avitan feints a jab promting Paulson to slip. Avitan then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Paulson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Avitan scores with a hook to the body. Paulson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Paulson swings and misses with a shot to the body
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Paulson throws a combination that misses
and Avitan counters with a leg kick.
Paulson is breathing heavily.
Paulson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Avitan pushes Paulson up against the cage in a clinch.

Avitan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Paulson tries to move into range but Avitan moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Avitan lands a jab.
That kick from Avitan tenderised Paulson's leg. Paulson is trying to keep his angry face on.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Avitan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Paulson. That did some damage!

Avitan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Paulson's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Avitan is working Paulson over against the cage.
Avitan lands a hook that snaps the head of Paulson backwards.

Avitan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Paulson misses with an uppercut
and Avitan counters with a head kick.
Avitan pushes Paulson away with a front kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A good leg kick by Avitan.
Paulson on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Avitan. Avitan obviously looking to wear him down.
Paulson tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Avitan scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

It looks like Gary Paulson has been cut.

Avitan lets loose with a powerful body kick. Paulson will feel that in the morning.
Avitan throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Avitan ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Avitan.
Avitan scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Paulson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Avitan can pounce on him.
The fighters circle, before Avitan throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Paulson's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Avitan lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
