Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Owen Camas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Evens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Camas might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qG1sZhO74A. Evens has chosen ac dc-Back in Black as his entrance music. Josh Evens will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Eddie Farnsworth and Chad Campbell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Evens, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Evens loads up on a big right hand but Camas slips the punch.
Camas swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Camas closes the distance looking to clinch
and Evens counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Owen Camas has been cut.

Evens takes the fight into the clinch.

Evens manages to break the clinch.
Evens avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Camas misses with the combination.
Camas tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Evens swivels and escapes.
Camas tries a head kick but it misses.
Camas shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Evens but Evens pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Evens scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

and Camas counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Camas is trying to control the action in half guard but Evens is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Evens is trying to stand up here but Camas is controlling him well.
Camas wants to take a breather but Evens is having none of it.
Camas slows the pace down in half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Owen Camas just wasn't active enough.
Camas dodges the punch combination from Evens.
Evens keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Camas.

Josh Evens is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Camas slips a jab and a cross from Evens.
Camas wants to clinch.
Camas takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Evens defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Camas.

Evens connects with a single shot there.
Camas tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Evens swivels and escapes.
Evens rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Camas moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Camas walks into a stiff left hand from Evens.
Evens throws a quick inside leg kick.
Camas wants to clinch but Evens slips to the side
and Evens counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Evens lands with a hook. Camas tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Camas pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Evens misses with a few strikes there.
Evens fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Camas looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Camas shoots for a takedown but Evens saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Camas is breathing heavily.
Camas is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Evens throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Some wild striking there from Evens.

Camas looks for a takedown but Evens sprawls well.
Camas tries to clinch but Evens moves away
and Evens counters with a slapping leg kick.
Evens misses with a double jab
and Camas counters with a left and a right that stings Evens.
Camas is looking to chop away at Evens's legs.
Camas shoots in for a takedown but Evens shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Oooooh!!! Evens has knocked Camas down with a huge combo! Evens steps away and waves a wobbly Camas back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Camas is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Evens misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Oh Camas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Evens drops Camas with a straight right hand, right on the button! Evens follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
