Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Howard Wolowitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willie Mcghee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcghee has chosen Dropkick Murphys - The Warrior's Code as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Howard Wolowitz has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Willie Mcghee!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Fedor Mirinova.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolowitz shoots in for a takedown but Mcghee shows good takedown defense.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Mcghee.
Wolowitz shoots for a double leg takedown but Mcghee sprawls well. He's pushed Wolowitz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mcghee pivots, looking for a leg kick but Wolowitz is out of range and Mcghee settles back down.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wolowitz takes a swing at Mcghee's ribcage but misses.

Mcghee misses with a low kick.
A big left from Wolowitz misses.
Wolowitz shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mcghee pinned against the cage. Mcghee gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Wolowitz tries to bum rush Mcghee with a series of wild strikes but Mcghee uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

A jab from Wolowitz does it's job there.
Mcghee tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wolowitz swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Mcghee tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Wolowitz dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Wolowitz throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
The fighters circle momentarily. Wolowitz darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Wolowitz is looking to wear down Mcghee with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Mcghee avoids a punch combination nicely.

That was a close round but I would say that Howard Wolowitz will probably get the nod.
That's time! Wolowitz's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Wolowitz misses the shot to the body.
Wolowitz takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Mcghee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
No luck for Wolowitz with that takedown attempt.

and Wolowitz counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Wolowitz wants to work for an arm triangle but Mcghee is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Wolowitz passes to side control.
Wolowitz grinds an elbow into Mcghee's temple.
Mcghee tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Mcghee can't do much from the bottom here.

Wolowitz scores with a couple of short elbows.
Mcghee holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Mcghee takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Wolowitz is looking to take a break and control but Mcghee is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Wolowitz throwing strikes but Mcghee manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Wolowitz tries to bench press Mcghee off him but Mcghee keeps the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wolowitz can't do much from the bottom here.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Mcghee throws a sloppy head kick and Wolowitz moves out of range easily.
Mcghee's jab looks to have found its range, popping Wolowitz under the eye.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wolowitz pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Mcghee back to the cage. Wolowitz follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Wolowitz swings for the body but Mcghee moves out of range.
Mcghee tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Mcghee misses with a hook
and Wolowitz counters with a right hand to the body.
Wolowitz takes a swing at Mcghee's ribcage but misses.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Mcghee walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Wolowitz checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Wolowitz tests Mcghee's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Wolowitz cracks Mcghee with a right hand to the side of the head.

Mcghee misses with a low kick.
Wolowitz shoots in for a takedown but Mcghee shows good takedown defense.
Mcghee takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Wolowitz misses with a left hand
and Mcghee finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Willie Mcghee has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Wolowitz scores with a jab to the head.
Wolowitz closes the distance and clinches up with Mcghee, looking for a takedown. Wolowitz pushes Mcghee against the cage but Mcghee circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Wolowitz jabbing away but nothing is landing.

and Mcghee counters with a thumping low kick.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Howard Wolowitz.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wolowitz, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
