Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pavel Katasonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shelton Harrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Katasonov comes to the cage accompanied by In Extremo - Wind. The crowd seem to be enjoying Harrell's choice of entrance music: J. Cole - Blow Up. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Katasonov stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Harrell.
A chopping leg kick lands by Harrell.
Harrell throws a sloppy head kick
and Katasonov counters with a thumping low kick.
Harrell checks a leg kick nicely.
Shelton Harrell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Katasonov counters with a good low kick that Harrell was not able to check.

Horrible takedown by Katasonov or perhaps it was just good defense by Harrell which made him look bad.

Katasonov postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Harrell is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Katasonov, into his guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Katasonov moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Katasonov has gone for a leg lock! Harrell slips out almost immediately though and dives into Katasonov's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
