The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savart looks to throw the jab but Cpw is out of range.

Savart forces Cpw back against the cage and clinches.

Savart tries a head kick but it misses.

Cpw takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cpw connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Savart throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Cpw counters with a three punch combo that has Savart backing up. Savart nods at Cpw to acknowledge the strikes.
Cpw avoids the head kick by Savart.
Cpw attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Savart pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cpw cracks Savart with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Cpw has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Savart to stand back up!

Cpw lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Savart up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Cpw from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Savart's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Clinical Cpw!
