Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Karol Barorf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Dee Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barorf comes to the cage accompanied by Wena - Salutuj. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jay Dee Penn!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn throws a right hand that Barorf ducks under and follows up with a left that Barorf also avoids with ease.

Barorf shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Penn slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Penn is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Penn throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Penn is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Barorf is looking to work some ground and pound but Penn has wrist control.
Penn thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Barorf has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Barorf drops back looking for a leg! Penn is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Penn manages to kick Barorf off! Barorf jumps back into Penn's guard.

Penn escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Barorf gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Barorf is stalling in the full guard.

Connects with an elbow from the bottom, proving to the judges that he's still active off his back.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Barorf working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

You can see the frustration on Penn's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Penn doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Barorf counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Penn's guard now.

Barorf got a little sloppy there for a moment and Penn has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Barorf has managed to get both his arms back between Penn's legs - danger averted.
Barorf is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

That's time! Barorf's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Penn doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Barorf counters with a nice double leg into side control. Penn won't be happy with that.

Barorf has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Penn is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Barorf yanks on the arm and Penn is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Barorf.
