Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Charon Hawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Megga Torque (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Charon Hawkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Megga Torque!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawkins tries to land a body kick
and Torque counters with a good low kick that Hawkins was not able to check.

Hawkins tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hawkins has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Hawkins seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Torque does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Hawkins uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Torque has time to react.

Hawkins has control of Torque's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Torque regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Hawkins is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Torque to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Torque shrugs it off.
