Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damien Grabovski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sert Pier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pier is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: All Nightmare Long. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pier looks to clinch
and Grabovski counters with a takedown into side control.
Grabovski is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pier is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Pier tries to escape but Grabovski is in control.
The referee asks Grabovski politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Grabovski prefers to stall for the moment though.
Grabovski tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Grabovski has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Grabovski's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
