Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Uasay Almeida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renato Werdum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Almeida comes to the cage accompanied by Vater Unser. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Almeida tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Werdum was well out of range. Poor timing from Almeida.
Almeida bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Werdum's head.
Werdum closes the distance and clinches up with Almeida, looking for a takedown. Werdum pushes Almeida against the cage but Almeida circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Almeida gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Werdum to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Werdum has gone for a leg lock! Almeida slips out almost immediately though and dives into Werdum's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Almeida would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Werdum controls Almeida momentarily but Almeida frees himself.

Almeida stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Almeida wants it to stay on the feet.

Werdum drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Werdum as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Almeida screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Werdum! Nice submission victory there!
