Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Geronimo Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Garcia has chosen AdickTouzO.... as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Geronimo Garcia was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Eddie Farnsworth and Franklyn Lucas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junior throws a head kick but Garcia moves out of range.
Junior dodges the punch combination from Garcia.
Junior circles away from the clinch attempt.
Junior shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Garcia but Garcia pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Junior changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Garcia looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Junior lands an elbow.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Garcia can't do much from the bottom here.
Check out the look on Junior's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Garcia tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Junior decides to stand back up.
Garcia rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Junior moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Junior closes the distance and clinches up with Garcia, looking for a takedown. Junior pushes Garcia against the cage but Garcia circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Junior is looking to clinch.
Garcia stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jon Junior. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Junior closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Garcia lands a two punch combo.
Junior lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Garcia moves into the clinch.

Junior tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Junior lands with an overhand left.
Garcia throws a right and a left that Junior avoids nicely.
Junior closes this distance looking for a takedown but Garcia circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Junior looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Garcia misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Garcia has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Junior is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Junior blocks a punch to the side of the head.
A nice right hand lands inside from Junior.
Garcia tries a knee to the head but Junior blocks it.
Junior fails to pull guard.
Junior has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Garcia is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Junior breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Junior wants to clinch.
A jab-cross combination lands for Junior and sends Garcia crashing to the mat! Junior follows him down to the mat - Garcia regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Garcia is rocked!

It looks like Geronimo Garcia has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Junior postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Garcia to stand up.
Garcia is still on wobbly legs! Can Junior finish him?

and Junior counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Garcia falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!
