Fortez comes into the arena with nothing but a G thang blaring out of the sound system. Bryant has chosen ShiftKit as his entrance music. Joe Fortez could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jacoby Bryant's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fortez darts in trying to clinch
and Bryant counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Joe Fortez has been cut.
Fortez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bryant looks to land a combination but Fortez avoids it well.
Fortez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bryant digs a good body shot into Fortez's ribs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bryant rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fortez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Donk. Bryant catches Fortez right on the button with a cross.
Bryant connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Fortez's hands.
Bryant lands a big right hand that sends Fortez crashing to the mat! Bryant stays standing though and waves Fortez back to his feet!
Fortez is rocked!
Fortez glances at the clock... BAM! Bryant nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Fortez crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Fortez is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jacoby Bryant!
