Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Russian works the jab nicely.
The Russian throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Hawk.

It looks like Mike Hawk has been cut.
The Russian throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hawk stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The Russian jabs Hawk right on the nose. Hawk blinks but takes it well.
The Russian misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The Russian throws a looping overhand right but Hawk ducks down to avoid it.
The Russian waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hawk.
The Russian swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Hawk counters by moving into the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The Russian is pushing Hawk up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
The Russian keeps control of Hawk as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

The Russian pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and The Russian counters with a series of strikes. Hawk will be more careful next time no doubt.

The Russian misses with an uppercut. Hawk saw that one coming.
The Russian circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Hawk drops to the canvas, hurt badly! The Russian follows Hawk to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
