Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harry Distacio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joh Jah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Distacio kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Art of War. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joh Jah!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jah shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Distacio counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Distacio throws a big shot that misses.
Distacio lands a head kick. Jah smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Distacio changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jah tries to avoid it but Distacio manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jah to the ground. Jah escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Distacio shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Jah eats them both and turns towards Distacio to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

and Distacio counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jah's guard now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Distacio has hold of Jah's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jah manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Distacio here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
