Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Brashears (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brashears comes to the cage accompanied by Walk by Pantera. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brandon Brashears!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Brown!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brashears fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Brown, pushing him back against the cage.
Brown looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Brown misses with a knee to the head.
Brashears dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Brashears obliges.
Brashears has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head and Brown goes down! Brashears dives on top of him - Brown manages to get guard.
It looks like James Brown has been cut.
Brashears slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Brashears with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brashears content to stall in guard here.
Brown controls Brashears momentarily but Brashears frees himself.
Brashears postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Brashears lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Brashears thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Brashears has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Brashears seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brashears is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Brashears working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Brown's head.
Brashears drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Brashears jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Brashears is working to tighten is grip on Brown's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Brown has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Brashears is really squeezing tight and eventually Brown passes out! Brashears breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
