Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between DJ Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey The Lion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Penn comes to the cage accompanied by Til I Collapse. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Joey The Lion seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Penn shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. The Lion eats them both and turns towards Penn to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.


It looks like Joey The Lion has been cut.
Penn lands a nice shot that snaps The Lion's head back.

Penn slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
An inside leg kick from Penn misses.
The Lion is trying desperately to land a takedown but Penn is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for The Lion.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but The Lion might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Penn has got the better of the exchanges.
