The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tintti throws a lazy uppercut
and Leon counters with a body kick.
Leon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Tintti counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A left and a right from Leon both land. Nice combination.
Leon lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Leon wants to clinch but Tintti slips to the side
and Leon takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tintti throws a poor cross that misses
and Leon counters with a left and a right that stings Tintti.
Xavier Leon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Leon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Leon moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Leon looks to land a body kick but Tintti moved away.
Tintti throws a lazy uppercut
and Leon counters with a nice kick to the body.
Tintti avoids the head kick by Leon.
Leon slips a straight right by Tintti.
Leon tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Tintti counters by clinching up.
Leon has Tintti pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Tintti manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Leon fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xavier Leon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tintti lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Leon backwards.

Leon fails to pull the fight into his guard.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Tintti creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Leon is breathing heavily.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Tintti takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Tintti manages to break the clinch.
Leon bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Tintti misses with a lunging right hand
and Leon counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Leon shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Tintti counters by clinching up.
Leon with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Tintti breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tintti misses with a hook
and Leon counters with a head kick. That will keep Tintti thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Tintti scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Tintti throws the left hand but Leon avoids the punch easily.
A slapping leg kick lands for Leon.
A swing and a miss from Tintti.

Tintti has Leon up against the cage in a clinch.
Leon looking to throw knees to the head but Tintti is blocking nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tintti lands an uppercut.
Tintti softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Tintti lands with a left to the head.

Tintti pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The fighters circling - Tintti throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A telegraphed right hand from Tintti misses the target.
Leon darts in trying to clinch
and Tintti counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Tintti holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Tintti breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Leon throws a hook to the side of Tintti's head but Tintti sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Tintti counters with a huge left! Leon is in big trouble! He's backing up but Tintti isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Leon from any more damage. A dominating finish by Tintti!
