Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between BulletTooth Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Wakelyn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva closes the distance and pushes Wakelyn back into the cage.

Silva breaks the clinch.
Silva shoots in but Wakelyn avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Wakelyn shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Wakelyn jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Silva manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Wakelyn is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Wakelyn tries to advance to mount but can't.
Silva managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Wakelyn.

Silva is looking to regain half guard here but Wakelyn keeps moving and retains side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wakelyn scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Silva to see if he's OK.

Wakelyn is trying to get an arm triangle but Silva is defending well.
Wakelyn is looking to take a break and control but Silva is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva is looking to reverse the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Wakelyn decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Silva lands a big head kick that sends Wakelyn tumbling to the mat! Silva takes a step backwards and waves Wakelyn back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Marcus Wakelyn has been cut.

and Wakelyn counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Silva!

Silva sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Silva is looking for a sweep. Wakelyn is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Silva moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Silva will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Silva will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Wakelyn throws a big right hand that misses.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Wakelyn has eaten all the pies!

Silva on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Silva tries to get out of the position.

Silva throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Silva wants to stand and escape but Wakelyn is having none of it.
Wakelyn working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Wakelyn postures up in Silva's guard and throws a big left but Silva blocks it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Marcus Wakelyn has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Wakelyn avoids a punch combination nicely.
Silva feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Wakelyns jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Wakelyn tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Silva swivels and escapes.
Silva pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Wakelyn back to the cage. Silva follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

and Wakelyn counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Wakelyn.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for BulletTooth Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that BulletTooth Silva will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Wakelyn clinches with his opponent.
Silva trying to stall but Wakelyn improves his position.
Silva lands a nice uppercut.

That has opened up Marcus Wakelyn's cut even more.
Silva is trying to drag Wakelyn to the mat but Wakelyn just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Wakelyn's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Silva has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Wakelyn is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Silva's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Wakelyn wants to clinch
and Silva counters with a head kick. That will keep Wakelyn thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Marcus Wakelyn's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
