The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Warakasa closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Tavarius quickly recovers to half guard.
Warakasa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tavarius keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Karumoka Warakasa was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Warakasa with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Tavarius to score with a decent uppercut.
Tavarius lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Karumoka Warakasa has been cut.
