Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mr Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Winston Howard and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a sloppy head kick and Hall moves out of range easily.

Hall looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Silva being controlled here, momentarily.
Hall wants to pass the guard but Silva is keeping the position.
Silva is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hall is controlling him.

Hall decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Hall shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Silva pinned against the cage. Silva gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hall avoids the head kick by Silva.
Silva is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva stuffs the takedown attempt from Hall. Hall gets slowly back to his feet.
Hall connects with a nice looking jab.
Silva wants to clinch
and Hall counters with a nice body shot.
Hall lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hall.

It looks like Mr Anderson Silva has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hall misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Hall closes the distance and clinches.

Hall's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hall scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Hall looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Silva takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Silva avoids the head kick by Hall.
Mr Anderson Silva is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hall fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Silva avoids it really well and circles away.
Mr Anderson Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Hall.

Hall closes this distance looking for a takedown but Silva circles away.

Hall bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Silva is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Hall has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Silva knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hall on the ground.
Hall staying calm.

Hall is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Silva is trying to escape and Hall transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Silva is forced to tap! Nice work there by Hall! Very nice indeed!
