Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rodimus Prime (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chicken Wang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chicken Wang is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wang shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Prime pinned against the cage. Prime gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Wang will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Prime moves into the clinch successfully.

Rodimus Prime has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chicken Wang.
Wang is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Wang has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Prime clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Wang is taking a breather. Prime says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Prime wants to improve his position but Wang is controlling well.
Prime is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Wang scores with a couple of nice shots.
Wang wants to lay and pray for a moment but Prime keeps working.

Prime pushes Wang off looking to stand but Wang dives back in and keeps control.

Chicken Wang dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Prime fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wang, pushing him back against the cage.
Wang changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Prime fights it off and pushes away nicely.

and Wang counters with a shoot takedown. Prime fights it but they end up in guard.
Prime utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Wang stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Prime swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Prime controls Wang momentarily but Wang frees himself.
Wang is breathing heavily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Rodimus Prime.

Wang gets caught napping as Prime dives in and scores a takedown. Wang manages to retain guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Prime wants to get back to his feet but Wang is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Rodimus Prime has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Chicken Wang is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Prime is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
