Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Briagga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and O Kai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Briagga might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to m.o.v.e - Painless PAIN. Kai has chosen Kaleohano as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Kai misses.
Kai swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Briagga avoids a punch combination nicely.
Briagga scores with a head kick.
Briagga blocks a jab.
Briagga misses with a looping left.
Kai throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Briagga sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Briagga shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kai throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Briagga really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kai throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Briagga cracks Kai with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Briagga throws the kick towards the body but Kai avoids it.

Briagga scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Briagga in side control, throwing shots but Kai defends.
Briagga fails to land a wild elbow strike.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Briagga working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Kai wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Briagga is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kai is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Kai is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Briagga has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Briagga wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kai, who protects the arm well.

Briagga goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Kai rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Briagga's guard! Nice work there by Kai!
Briagga is breathing heavily.

Briagga escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kai gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kai gets to his feet. Briagga looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Kai looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Kai swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Briagga.
Briagga showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kai.
O Kai is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Briagga tries to close the distance and clinch but Kai swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Briagga misses the jab.
Briagga misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kai.

Briagga thows a left - swing and a miss!
Kai fails to land with a series of punches.

Briagga clinches up with Kai and pushes him back against the cage.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Briagga.
Kai wants to break free but Briagga has control.
Kai gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Briagga.

Kai breaks the clinch.

Briagga changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kai looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Briagga has an Americana. Kai didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Briagga is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Briagga hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
