Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshiko Mizuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshiko Mizuki!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White moves to clinch but Mizuki breaks away
and Mizuki counters with a shoot takedown. White fights it but they end up in guard.
White is breathing heavily.
Mizuki content to stall in guard here.
White avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Mizuki works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Mizuki decides to stand and escape the position.
Mizuki closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. White did well to prevent Mizuki getting side control.
Mizuki tries to pass to full mount but White defends it.
Mizuki is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Mizuki has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Mizuki stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Mizuki shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mizuki is working for a guillotine from mount but White frees his head quite easily.

Mizuki throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for White because Mizuki loaded up on that one.
White avoids a series of strikes thrown by Mizuki.

White is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Let's hope that Mizuki has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
White is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Mizuki locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! White is forced to tap!
