The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veto digs a good hook to Fischer's body.
Fischer tries to clinch but Veto moves away
and Veto counters with a two punch combo.
Veto moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Mike Fischer has been cut.
Fischer darts in trying to clinch
and Veto counters with a stiff right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Veto connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Fischer is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Veto.

Veto looks to throw the jab but Fischer is out of range.

Veto throws a combination. Fischer tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Fischer takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Fischer tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Veto cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

That has opened up Mike Fischer's cut even more.
Veto cracks Fischer with an open hand slap.
Veto scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Fischer doesn't seem bothered though.

Veto lands a big right hand that sends Fischer crashing to the mat! Veto stays standing though and waves Fischer back to his feet!

Veto lands with an uppercut that bounces Fischer off the cage and back into rage.
Fischer seems to have recovered his senses.

Mike Fischer's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Fischer drops his hands momentarily and Veto takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Veto fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mike Fischer's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
