Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Scott Bradley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Horwick!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bradley checks the leg kick.
Bradley connects with a high kick.


It looks like Jack Horwick has been cut.
Bradley moves in looking to clinch but Horwick pushes him off.

Bradley closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Horwick displaying some good clinch control by pressing Bradley up against the cage.
Horwick can't get the takedown.

Horwick breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Horwick moves into the clinch successfully.
Horwick looking to slow down the pace here.
Bradley tries to break free but Horwick pushes him back against the cage.
Horwick tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bradley smiles and moves away.
Horwick looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Scott Bradley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Horwick.
Bradley stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bradley wants it to stay on the feet.

Bradley pushes Horwick up against the cage in a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Bradley's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Bradley creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Horwick's defenses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bradley throws an elbow but it misses.
Bradley jumps guard but Horwick stands there with Bradley around his waist. Bradley gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Horwick can't get the takedown.
Horwick is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bradley pulls him back up using the underhooks.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Bradley scores with a knee to the head.
Horwick jumps guard but Bradley stands there with Horwick around his waist. Horwick gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Bradley throws an elbow but it's blocked.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Bradley misses with an elbow over the top.
Bradley misses with a knee strike.
Bradley lands a knee to the body.

Bradley breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A head kick misses from Bradley.
Horwick sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Horwick darts in trying to clinch

and Bradley holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bradley with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Horwick tries to score a body lock takedown but Bradley shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Bradley just misses with a elbow thrown towards Horwick's brow.

Horwick wants the takedown. Bradley is fighting it off but Horwick persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Bradley's guard against the cage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Horwick looks gassed!
Horwick trying to control the position from guard on top but Bradley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Horwick is standing up over Bradley. Bradley looks to escape but Horwick dives into side control.

Horwick working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Horwick throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Horwick looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Bradley is avoiding damage well.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Bradley is looking to regain half guard here but Horwick keeps moving and retains side control.
Horwick trying to control the action but Bradley is working from the bottom.
Horwick passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Bradley!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Horwick throwing strikes here but Bradley is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Bradley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Horwick on the ground.
Bradley tries to improve his position but instead Horwick has taken his back!
Horwick has the hooks in. Bradley is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Horwick looking for the choke from the back.
Horwick controlling the position well here. Bradley rolled but Horwick kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Horwick has managed to slip his arm under Bradley's chin. This could be all over... yep, Bradley is tapping out! Submission win for Horwick.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jack Horwick!
