Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sharp scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
St Pierre looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Sharp has taken the fight to the clinch.
Sharp will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning St Pierre up against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Sharp creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
A body shot lands from Sharp.
Sharp goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Sharp breaks from the clinch.
Sharp's jab looks to have found its range, popping St Pierre under the eye.

St Pierre has his takedown stuffed
and Sharp counters with a nice low kick that buckles St Pierre's knee momentarily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
St Pierre shoots for a takedown but Sharp saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Curtis Sharp has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George St Pierre.

and Sharp counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Jab, jab by Sharp - just one landing.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Sharp.
St Pierre looks gassed!
Sharp scores with a nice strike.
Sharp lands a jab.
Sharp fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sharp lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
St Pierre is trying desperately to land a takedown but Sharp is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for St Pierre.
The fighters circle momentarily. Sharp darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

St Pierre is rocked!
St Pierre gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
St Pierre is still on wobbly legs! Can Sharp finish him?
Sharp ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with St Pierre's jaw. St Pierre's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Sharp does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
