The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Visagie with a poor takedown
and Snotklap counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Snotklap.
Snotklap escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Visagie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Snotklap pinned against the cage. Snotklap gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Snotklap moves away from the strike by Visagie.
Snotklap connects with a high kick.
Visagie fails with the takedown
and Snotklap counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Theunie Visagie. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Snotklap bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Snotklap wants to stand but Visagie has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.
Visagie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Snotklap defends it easily.
Visagie is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Visagie pushes a forearm under Snotklap's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Snotklap is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
