Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Saenchai Sor Kingstar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willy Cody (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Willy Cody will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Saenchai Sor Kingstar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Willy Cody!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cody drives through and clinches with Kingstar against the cage.
Kingstar tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Cody just stands there and leans against the cage.
Kingstar fails to pull guard.
Kingstar tries to pull guard but Cody won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Saenchai Sor Kingstar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cody lands an elbow inside.
Cody throws a knee to the head but misses.
Kingstar drops down looking for an ankle pick but Cody pulls his leg out and moves away.
Kingstar checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

and Kingstar counters with an outside leg kick.

and Kingstar decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Cody's guard.
Kingstar content to stall in guard here.
Kingstar drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Cody dives on top into guard.
Kingstar is looking for a triangle here but Cody uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Kingstar is trying to get back to half guard.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Kingstar wants to get back to his feet but Cody drags him back down.
You can see the frustration on Kingstar's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Cody decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Kingstar looks for a takedown but Cody sprawls well.

and Kingstar counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Saenchai Sor Kingstar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Kingstar tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Cody misses with a knee strike.
Kingstar fails to pull guard.
Kingstar is trying to break free.

Kingstar misses with a hook from the clinch.
Cody tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Cody keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kingstar's efforts to push away.
Cody throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kingstar blocks it with crossed arms.

Cody lands a nice elbow.
Cody connects with a nasty looking knee right to Kingstar's face.
Cody pushes off an throws an elbow but Kingstar leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Cody looks gassed!
Kingstar escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kingstar looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Cody counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Cody.
Kingstar tries to pull guard but Cody won't allow it.
Cody misses with an elbow over the top.
Cody throws a knee to the head but misses.
Cody tries to land a knee to the head but Kingstar blocks with his arms.
Cody with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Kingstar jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cody walks away with a smile on his face. Kingstar gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Kingstar swinging wildly here.
A jab lands there for Kingstar.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Cody throws a head kick but Kingstar moves out of range.
Kingstar uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Saenchai Sor Kingstar will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Cody uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kingstar.
Cody throws a head kick but Kingstar moves out of range.
Kingstar tries to clinch up
and Cody counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Cody keeps the fight on the outside.
Kingstar pulls out of a head kick attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cody thows a leg kick but Kingstar checks it
and Kingstar counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kingstar shoots for a takedown but Cody saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Cody steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kingstar.

A low kick from Cody misses
and Kingstar counters with a slapping leg kick.
Cody tries to work over Kingstar's front leg with a kick but Kingstar checks it.
Kingstar throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kingstar jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Kingstar thows a left - swing and a miss!
Kingstar misses with a double jab.
An inside leg kick lands from Cody.
Kingstar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cody tries to avoid it but Kingstar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cody to the ground. Cody escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kingstar shoots in but no luck this time.

and Cody counters with a thumping low kick.
Kingstar shoots in for a double leg but Cody sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kingstar throws a one two combo.
Cody finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Cody throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Kingstar misses with a straight left.
Cody pivots, looking for a leg kick but Kingstar is out of range and Cody settles back down.
Both fighters circling a little - Cody finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Kingstar takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Kingstar throws a body kick the misses
and Cody counters with an inside leg kick.
Cody wants to slow Kingstar down by chopping away at his legs.
Kingstar shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kingstar swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Cody throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kingstar looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Cody!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Cody wants to try and get back to his feet.

Cody is looking to improve his position but Kingstar isn't that keen on the idea.
Kingstar swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Cody is now in Kingstar's guard. A big mistake from Kingstar there, giving up the dominant position!
Kingstar looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Cody has picked Kingstar up and slammed him! Kingstar can't keep hold of the triangle and Cody manages to pass to side control!
Cody decides to stand up, so the ref orders Kingstar to his feet.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Cody in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Willy Cody showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Cody throws a sloppy head kick and Kingstar moves out of range easily.

Cody trying to control the position but instead, Kingstar has worked for underhooks and has pushed Cody into the cage.

Kingstar swings around for an armbar but Cody sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kingstar's guard.
Kingstar is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Cody is aware though and is defending well.
Kingstar is looking to stand back up but Cody counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Kingstar.
Cody decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Kingstar swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Cody counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Saenchai Sor Kingstar is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kingstar rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cody moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kingstar tries to score with a low kick but Cody moves his leg out of the way.
Cody cracks Kingstar with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Cody takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Cody chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kingstar can pounce on him.

Cody avoids the body shot from Kingstar.
Cody throws a low kick, looking for Kingstar's leg but Kingstar calmly moves out of range.
Kingstar stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Cody scores with a head kick. Kingstar tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Cody has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Kingstar misses with a right hand
and Cody counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Kingstar misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Kingstar moves to clinch but Cody breaks away
and Cody counters with a nice kick to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cody throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kingstar wants to clinch but Cody slips to the side
and Cody counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Kingstar falls off balance throwing a combination
and Cody makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Kingstar really felt that one!
And that's the end of the fight!
Willy Cody comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Cody has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
