Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Doctor Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Balls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones's entrance music is Doctor Jones. A fine choice. The key to victory for Doctor Jones has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Harry Balls!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Joseph Jones and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balls walks into a left hand.
Jones wants to land a leg kick but Balls is out of range.
Balls dives in and grabs Jones's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes down on Balls's head and hops out.
Balls slips under a jab.
Balls closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Jones's guard.
Jones looking to hit a scissor sweep but Balls is one step ahead there.
Balls trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Balls wants to pass the guard but Jones is keeping the position.
Jones has his hands on Balls's head, controlling the position.
Balls wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.
Balls throws a big right hand that misses.
Jones is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Balls trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Balls shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jones defends it nicely.
Balls tries for a takedown but Jones circles away easily
and Jones counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Doctor Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harry Balls.
Balls tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jones sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Balls somewhat.
Jones cracks Balls with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Jones lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Balls takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Jones fails in his attempt to clinch.
Jones lands a nice looking body shot.
Balls looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones misses with a low kick.
Jones is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Balls fails with the takedown.
Jones misses the shot to the body.
Jones bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Balls looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jones is fending him off so far but Balls persists. Nope, Jones circles away and we're back to standing.
Balls takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Jones connects with an inside leg kick.
Jones lands with a nice body punch.
Balls takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Doctor Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jones moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Balls takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Balls is rocked!
Jones fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Balls out cold! Brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Doctor Jones!
