Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Wesley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Perry Flavel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wesley's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, AC/DC - Thunderstruck. Flavel is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Amazing - Kanye west. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wesley throws a lazy body kick
and Wesley takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ryan Wesley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wesley.
Wesley swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Flavel counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Wesley throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Flavel tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Wesley is in Flavel's guard.

Wesley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wesley accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Flavel can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Wesley controls the pace.
Wesley seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Flavel for as long as he can get away with.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Ryan Wesley just wasn't active enough.

Flavel displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wesley.

and Flavel counters with a nice low kick that buckles Wesley's knee momentarily.
Flavel scores with a hook.
Flavel takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Flavel counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Wesley. That's going to take a lot out of him.
