Ramires comes to the cage accompanied by Fly Me To The Moon - By Frank Sinatra. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Quandre Diggs enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diggs misses with a takedown attempt
and Ramires counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Diggs working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ramires doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ramires manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Diggs is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Ramires is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Diggs to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Diggs shrugs it off.

Ramires jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Diggs manages to avoid the submission attempt.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Diggs is looking to improve his position but Ramires isn't that keen on the idea.

Ramires has control of Diggs's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Diggs regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
