The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kent manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Rage on his heels. He'll look to pass Rage's guard now, I'm sure.
Kent prevents Rage from getting back to his feet.
Rage preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Kent trying to control but Rage is working from the bottom.

Kent thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Kent trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Kent's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Kent stops Rage from standing up.
Rage is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Rage can't keep his opponent in guard - Kent advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Kent passes to side control.
Kent working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

It looks like Gunner Rage has been cut.

Kent is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Rage looks calm but he's in trouble here. Kent gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Rage is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Kent lets go of the hold and Rage can pop his arm back in it's socket.
