The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bobby tries to clinch
and Pena counters with a single leg into guard. Bobby didn't expect that.
Bobby wants to sweep but no luck.
Bobby has his hands on Pena's head, controlling the position.
Bobby kicks Pena off and gets to his feet.
Pena fails with the takedown
and Bobby counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Bobby throws a series of punches but Pena moves out of range.
Pena drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bobby is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Pena drops back looking for a leg! Bobby is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bobby manages to kick Pena off! Pena jumps back into Bobby's guard.
Pena thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pena drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pena jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Bobby wants to get back to his feet but Pena is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Pena tries to free his leg and advance position but Bobby is retaining full guard.
Bobby wants to stand but Pena is controlling the position.

Bobby is trying to stand up here but Pena is controlling him well.
Bobby is breathing heavily.
Pena is working for a submission of some sort.
Pena looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Pena maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Bobby could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Pena has cracked it and Bobby is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Pena!
