Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shcloff shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches McCarthy napping and manages to drive through into side control!
McCarthy isn't going anywhere.
Shcloff throws a strike aimed at the side of McCarthy's head but McCarthy avoids it well.
McCarthy trying to remain calm as Shcloff controls from the top position.
McCarthy is not content to let Shcloff control the position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Shcloff is really struggling to control McCarthy but he's trying to hold on to the position.
McCarthy is trying to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Shcloff in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Shcloff is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. McCarthy is trying to escape and Shcloff transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and McCarthy is forced to tap! Nice work there by Shcloff! Very nice indeed!
