Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nate MacRally (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Doakes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MacRally comes to the cage accompanied by Sick Puppies - You're Going Down. Doakes is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Jack Sparrow (feat. Michael Bolton) . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacRally misses with a straight right.
Doakes wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
MacRally has a takedown stuffed.
Doakes lands a jab-cross combination.
Doakes throws a series of punches but MacRally avoids them all with ease.
MacRally avoids the body shot from Doakes.
MacRally wants to land a leg kick but Doakes is out of range.
MacRally throws a quick inside leg kick.
MacRally fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Doakes has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Doakes connects with a nice looking jab.

Doakes swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Doakes drops MacRally with a beautiful combination! MacRally stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Doakes is looking for the KO!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Doakes throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Doakes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but MacRally manages to avoid it.

and MacRally counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
MacRally throws out a leg kick but Doakes moves out of range and MacRally only half commits.
Doakes just misses with a punch to the body.
MacRally connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Doakes momentarily.

and MacRally decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Doakes's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Doakes has momentary wrist control but MacRally slips an elbow through the middle.
Doakes wants to get back to his feet but MacRally is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Doakes can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as MacRally controls the pace.

MacRally throwing strikes from guard but Doakes blocks nicely.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
MacRally engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but James Doakes will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Nate MacRally's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

MacRally throws a left that rocks Doakes and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! MacRally dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Doakes regain composure!

It looks like James Doakes has been cut.
Doakes is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but MacRally has just dragged him back down to the mat.

MacRally tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no MacRally has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
MacRally advances nicely into full mount.
Doakes wants to control but MacRally is having none of it.
Doakes is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Doakes tries to lock up and control but MacRally gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
MacRally with shots to the head and body - Doakes looks very uncomfortable down there.
MacRally breaks from Doakes's wrist control and lands an elbow.
