Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Jamie Wigfield!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mick McKullen!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKullen defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Wigfield.
McKullen is trying hard to land a takedown here. Wigfield sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
McKullen throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Wigfield counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
McKullen wants to get back to his feet.
McKullen is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McKullen has one foot on Wigfield's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
McKullen swings widly with a right hand

and Wigfield counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for McKullen!
McKullen is trying to stand up.

Wigfield gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

McKullen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Wigfield tries to kick McKullen off but McKullen keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
McKullen not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

McKullen stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Wigfield to get to his feet.

and Wigfield counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Wigfield.

McKullen scrambles and gets back to his feet.

McKullen is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
McKullen throws a sloppy head kick and Wigfield moves out of range easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
McKullen misses with a double jab

and Wigfield counters with a takedown into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

McKullen tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Wigfield counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Wigfield.

McKullen has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Wigfield off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

McKullen drives through with a takedown into Wigfield's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
McKullen won't allow Wigfield to get back to his feet.
McKullen stays in close to Wigfield's body and controls the position.
McKullen is looking to stand up but Wigfield won't let him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

McKullen works over Wigfield's head and body with a nice combination.

McKullen shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

McKullen escapes and gets back to his feet.

McKullen moves to clinch but Wigfield breaks away

and Wigfield counters with a takedown into side control.

Wigfield has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McKullen throws a combination that misses

and Wigfield counters with a nice double leg into guard.
McKullen wants to stand up but Wigfield is controlling him.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McKullen uses the cage to get back to his feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
McKullen misses the shot to the body.
McKullen closes the distance and clinches up with Wigfield, looking for a takedown. McKullen pushes Wigfield against the cage but Wigfield circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jamie Wigfield is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Wigfield stuffs the takedown.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wigfield.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Wigfield decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in McKullen's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Wigfield's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

and Wigfield counters with a nice double leg into side control. McKullen won't be happy with that.
McKullen wants to get back to his feet but Wigfield drags him back down.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Wigfield decides to stand back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Nice straight punches there by McKullen. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of McKullen.

McKullen is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Wigfield is controlling him.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

We're going to have a standup here because Jamie Wigfield wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Jamie Wigfield showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wigfield, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
